The Cars with the Cheapest Insurance in 2020

Car Insurance Insurance

When shopping for a car, it is important to factor in your vehicle’s insurance to find out the total cost to own the car. Insurance rates are calculated differently by each insurance company and are based on a variety of factors such as driving record, postal code, car model, and coverages.

The safety rating of the vehicle plays a very important role in its insurance costs. Additionally, a car’s target audience, price, and parts costs will also impact its cost to insure.

Each year, Insure.com averages a list of vehicles that cost the least to insure. This year, the study was based on over 3,000 models using data provided by six large insurance companies. Most of the vehicles that make top of the list year in and year out are SUVs and crossover SUVs that are ideal for family use and packed with several safety and security features.
